The Transplant Science Committee (TSC), comprised of established scientists and a trainee from all 5 continents, is charged with promoting basic and translational science for members of The Transplantation Society.
The Transplantation Science Symposium, (TSS: formerly Basic Science Symposium) is one of the most important meetings supported by the TSC. Every 2 years, the TSS brings together researchers from all over the world conducting research in basic and translational transplantation science. Serene locations encourage participants to network, exchange ideas and present their latest findings. Transplant researchers also have the opportunity to learn from the latest discoveries from leaders in Transplantation and related areas.
This year the TSC is very pleased to collaborate with TSANZ to bring the TSS 2015 to Australia, recognizing the substantial growth in transplantation science in the Pacific region. The tradition of Mentee-Mentor travel awards and networking function will continue, celebrating the discoveries by young investigators and enabling their participation in this meeting.
